The True Edit was founded by Janelle True in 2026.
Not only does she love writing about beauty, health, and wellness, she’s also a singer-songwriter.
Her music captures themes of truth, justice, faith, and the human experience, using empathy to put words to some of the deeper feelings in life.
She started The True Edit as a space to write about things she enjoys, expressing a lighter side to life and writing.
Our Core Values
✵
Inner & Outer Beauty
We love cultivating both inner and outer beauty. While people are so much more than what they look like, it’s fun to express ourselves through our outward features – all while recognizing that inner strength, character, and grace are some of the most beautiful features we can have.
✵
Mental & Physical Health
We are holistic people and so is our health. Focusing on our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs allows us to live our lives to the fullest. Difficulties in any of these areas can be a challenging part of life, but there is always hope to be found in the midst of them.
✵
home wherever you are
We believe home is a haven from the world — a place where everyone should feel safe, warm, and at rest. Whether it’s through practical systems or thoughtful decor, creating a peaceful living space also helps us feel at home in our minds and bodies.
